CoAuction: Investment in Auctions and Luxury Collectibles
Product Overview
CoAuction is the investment product on Osool Gamma platform that focuses on tradable and speculative assets that derive their value from rarity and distinction. This section covers a wide range of physical collectibles such as jewelry, rare watches, artworks, and rare livestock (like purebred Arabian horses), as well as high-value intangible assets like premium phone numbers, unique license plates, and domain names (Domains). The goal of CoAuction is to provide investors the opportunity to participate in owning assets that increase in value over time or through resale in competitive auctions.
Key Features of CoAuction
How Does Osool Gamma Use This Product?
First: Selection Process (Authenticity & Expert Appraisal)
The selection process in CoAuction is the most precise technically; licensed experts and appraisers are consulted to verify asset authenticity (such as watches or antiques) and estimate current and expected market value. For intangible assets (like numbers and plates), legal ownership and official transferability via government entities are verified.
Second: Tokenization Process (Tokenization & Proof of Origin)
Once the asset is verified, its details and authenticity certificate are registered on the blockchain and ownership is fractionalized into digital tokens (Tokens). The blockchain acts as a historical ownership record proving asset origin and transfer history, increasing its value upon resale and preventing fraud or manipulation.
Third: Investment Mechanism
The asset (rare watch or license plate, for example) is offered for fractional subscription via the platform. Investors' funds are kept in the Escrow Account, and the physical asset is stored in fully secure and insured warehouses (or legally transferred to the SPV company for movable assets), and funds are not transferred to the original seller until legal and technical documentation transfer to new investors is guaranteed.
Fourth: Returns Distribution
Returns in CoAuction are usually realized upon asset resale (Exit). When the collectible is sold in a public auction or to a final buyer at a higher price, capital gains are distributed to token holders digitally and automatically via smart contracts. In some cases (like phone numbers or plates), profits may be realized through "usage leasing" if available, but the main focus remains on value growth at final sale.
